Uploading files to an Apple TV

Anyone know if its possible to upload files to specific folder locations on an Apple TV 4k or otherwise gain access to the file system?

Yup - can be jail broken - google it, it's basically macOS cut down.

Dunno why you would tho - updates never work, the dodgy software that runs on jailbroken iOS is flakey, done it in the past and always reverted back.

I need to upload some custom config files for an app I have on it. Once they are on I'd be happy to remove the jail break as the config files don't affect the OS itself, just the app. The App itself doesn't have a mechanism to do it.

Can’t you do that in Xcode on an AppleTV simulator?

Probably, if I knew it was possible

It's not my App, it's an official third party one from the app store.
