    It's not the prettiest way to do it, but I've just been making square block furniture. It's good enough to confirm that there'll be a gap of [x]mm between a sofa and a wall, for example.

      I've been using homestyler.com by autodesk over the last couple of weeks and it's probably the best free software i've found in terms of ease of use
