    Google search - which pages under main site link

    Tried Googling but search terms a bit too generic to find the solution.

    If you type the full name of your company your index page comes up with links to some other pages arranged beneath. How do you affect which of the latter are shown? On mine I get some rather minor pages like terms and conditions rather than the main product pages.

    Cheers

    terms and conditions and these types of pages should be no index

    So...

    <meta name="robots" content="noindex">

    ...in your html header. Google should scrape them but ignore them

    You can create a site map xml file and score the pages as well which in theory might effect the serps. Sending minor pages down.

      IF you are referring to the category pages that google shows under the main link on the serp then that is really down to google and will depend on the site PR.

      Tabs on the site header will kind of give them a kind of inclination towards that.

          They're known as "sitelinks" and Google Webmaster Tools allows you to demote ones you think shouldn't be there, without modifying the site: Sitelinks
