I need to remove a vertical radiator (see link below) which is blocking access to a dryer which I need to pull out for an engineer to fix.

Anyone removed a vertical radiator before, advice, tips etc?

Make sure you bleed it first...

    Arse, this isnt general.

    Should be the same process.

I'm an expert on bleeding radiators and gladiator films.

God, I feel stupid but reading those instructions makes me want to call a plumber or worse my Dad.

          Should be easy enough.

Close the main control valve by turning it to *.
Pop the cover off the underside of the pipe the controls valve is attached to and use an allen key on the screw you can see underneath to tighen it up as far as it will go.

This should close both valves on the radiator so you can undo the pipe fittings, drain it and remove it like a regular radiator. Tip: Opening the bleed valve will let the water drain a lot faster.
