Not tried overclocking it at all. We use a USB game controller I bought for the PC a while back, and once we went through the procedure to map the buttons and controls it works fine. My fiancee plays it a lot more than I do, she's much more into her SNES, NES, Megadrive games etc so those are the ones we've spent most time on. I've downloaded some Spectrum games but not tried them out yet. Monkey Island seems to work well on the scummvm emulator, so happy with that

Note that setting up the controller for emulationstation (which you can do through the emulationstation menus) is different to setting it up for the actual games themselves (which you have to do through the Retropie-Setup script i.e. quit emulationstation and run the script from the command line).

Just a reminder to be careful with adaptors.

Not sure how your SCART adaptor works, guess it takes the RCA output, which should be ok.

I'm having a second attempt to get my Pi working.

I thought that I'd broken it by push/screwing the chip to the board but now think think that it may be a config issue.

I'll take a look and see if I can find anything that may be the reason for it not working.

What a load of wank! Someone at work makes a megadeal out of having one, bores everyone to death about how good it is. No wonder they arent married or in a relationship. Boring!
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

              I GOT IT WORKING!!

A major achievement for me. Now to find some retro games....

(The config is set to HDMI as default, I had to sit some keys to switch to composite. Ah well...)

Is right. I've no problem with other people having different interests.

But when someone constantly attempts to start a conversation about 'it' and repeatedly saying how great 'it' is and everyone nearby switches off, even you'd get the message swellen.

Then it's just as well that I don't give a flying fornication what you think, isn't it?

It was in General, I thought it better off in Technical, it's gone back to geekiness.
