Best all-round laptop for under £1k inc. VAT?

    Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a laptop for me? Budget is up to £1,000 inc. VAT (although ideally less!)

    Must be 15" or bigger
Must be able to handle Microsoft Flight Simulator X at max settings
Must not be a Mac :P
Must have at least 250GB storage
    Must have a CD burner
Must have a resolution of 1366 x 768 or higher
Must be able to deal with crunching a lot of data from time to time (I'll be using it for business as well as pleasure)
Must have the best processor and graphics card combination possible for that budget

Ideally must have a multi-output soundcard (for using Traktor to cue songs through headphones) - although this isn't critical
Ideally must have Windows 8 - although Windows 7 is fine
Ideally must have a matte screen - although glossy is fine

Not important: SSD (although would be nice to have), weight, battery life, brand (as long as it's not a Mac!), form factor/design

    Any ideas would be appreciated!

        Don't worry - it won't be a Mac...

              Only 250GB storage??

I had 450GB and I filled that up in no time. I then had to image over to a 1TB disk. And even that is starting to look a bit small.

Than I have to back that up. so have to get a 4TB desktop backup unit.

Lots and lots of VMs and databases and source code rather. I am a programmer after all.
