Charge a mobile phone from a shaver socket?

d000hg have you been blown up yet? Looking to buy an electric toothbrush from the US and keen to know what happens if I plug it in the UK!

Would imagine the razor socket with 110v supply will work without a problem

I found I was able to plug in a european plug without problem - it fit the socket OK. So I plugged in a Euro->UK adapter to the train's shaver socket, then plugged in a UK mains->USB charger, and was able to charge my iPad/phone without issue.
