    London Christmas Party 2015

    Getting organised

    Friday December 11th 2015.

Venue, attendees etc. to be confirmed much nearer the time, but I'm booking my cancellable hotel room now to avoid the usual "I can't get a cheap hotel" palaver nearer the time.

I can always back out (a la certain other posters) that afternoon

Get the date in the diary, boys and girls.

I know, but if I leave it to the last minute, then I won't come because I'll say it's too expensive and I'm not that fussed about meeting you lot again

If I put it in the calendar now, and have a room booked, then it's more likely that I'll be there. And if not, I'll have a weekend in London on my own.

Any hotel recommendations? Might try and come along this year.

I've just been on Booking.com and gone with one of their recommendations. You could always try the Shard, but that's way too high (and pricey) for me.

Same price for a room that could be cancelled as one that couldn't , and I can cancel right up until the week before, so I figured why not?

I've only been to one CUK Christmas party, and was so absolutely violently ill that night and the following day, I don't really remember much about the people there

I know I met Spartacus though!

Sounds good Well volunteered that man!

We got a super cheap last minute hotel this year on someone's suggestion.

Counting house was good in terms of location. We had the Club Room, which comfortably does 10-12. We had 20 turn up...
