183 days - and those used to be midnights so not sure if that rule still stands, if it does it makes a huge difference to some travelling on a Monday morning and coming home on a Friday.

You can work in most EU countries for 186 days before becoming liable for local taxes so could use one for that period. After that you are a tax resident of the country you are working in.

I have said it before but will say again. It beggars belief how many people are willing to apply for roles up to the point of accepting without the slightest clue on how they will get paid.

Sorry, it's not the done thing to PM general info to newbies (forums are for sharing information after all) but I'm sure that someone who knows will post on here.

Help! - Contractor Work with Umbrella company.
Greetings everyone.
Is anyone here working on a contract (in Belgium) with an umbrella company?
I need help asap, if someone could send me a PM right now I'd appreciate it, since I have to give a final answer to my employer tomorrow first thing in the morning. Is it legal? For 375€/day rate, how much should I expect monthly net (100% compliant with taxes)?
I'm a Portuguese citizen by the way!
Thank you very much!Tags: None
