Velcro ...... due to time constraint, I went with Advance before receiving any responses to my original post. So far, I'm being paid on time and they answer questions via the phone promptly.

Toffo - did you (or anyone else) have any dealings with Advance in the end? They are one of my choices for a potential Inside contract.
I had a call earlier with one of the other umbrella choices today, and I feel dirty after just speaking with them...
(Sorry Lucy, I asked the agent about chances to get someone added to the PSL and they were not budging.)

Oh missed this before so sorry for the late reply.
Advance like to offer expenses (due to not being under SDC) to maximise both your income and their profit were you not able to claim the percentage they set aside for expenses.
Personally I wouldn't recommend them but they do fulfil a niche if you need to claim expenses consistently, the end client isn't paying them directly and you want someone else to take (some of) the risk.
