    The umbrella has to fork out for the cost of the bike first before retrieving funds from salary sacrifice from the contractor, unless I am missing something. Although I did notice that the umbrella can opt for finance which I am guessing would be passed to the contractor.

    Only what other people at the same umbrella get?

    What you really want is the agency rules where you have the same rights as permanent staff after 12 weeks. It's why a lot of firms will be requesting umbrella companies rather than agency payroll.

    Giantgroup do. I have used it. Very flexible. Local cycle shop took the voucher so you dont have to use Halfords or other big shops.

  • any umbrella's operate a cycle to work scheme ?

    I am interested in is the "cycle to work" scheme and likely to get brolly'd soon so any umbrella's operate these ?

    Cycle to work scheme implementation guidance for employers - GOV.UK


    most companies now run some form of salary sacrifice for the cycle to work so was hoping the Umbrella's would be up to speed with this.
