The screen has to be up to the right height. If you use a Laptop you´ll always end up hunched over the desk. You need a screen to be high up more or less at head hight.

It won't. if anything it will weaken your core muscles because your back will be over supported.

The good ones move and lean forward with you and you can adjust the relative position of the arse support and back to fit the length of your thighs.

You also need to consider the hight of your desk.

I've been looking on & off at a nice ergonomic chair to replace my old bog-standard wheelie chair. But one of my main seating issues is simply that I tend to perch on the front of the seat and lean forward. I catch myself doing it but can't seem to break the habit.

I worry that no expensive chair will help if I don't actually sit in the damn thing, or will it encourage/force me to do so? I've even wondered about some way to 'tie' myself in, that will alert me if I lean too much... like a piece of thread of elastic or something!
