And attending an Alexander Technique trainer will have you standing and sitting properly.

The screen has to be up to the right height. If you use a Laptop you´ll always end up hunched over the desk. You need a screen to be high up more or less at head hight.

The aerons are great chairs as long as you get the right one for your body size and shape.

The good ones move and lean forward with you and you can adjust the relative position of the arse support and back to fit the length of your thighs.
You also need to consider the hight of your desk.

Will a fancy chair make me sit properly?
I've been looking on & off at a nice ergonomic chair to replace my old bog-standard wheelie chair. But one of my main seating issues is simply that I tend to perch on the front of the seat and lean forward. I catch myself doing it but can't seem to break the habit.
I worry that no expensive chair will help if I don't actually sit in the damn thing, or will it encourage/force me to do so? I've even wondered about some way to 'tie' myself in, that will alert me if I lean too much... like a piece of thread of elastic or something!Tags: None
