started a topic Printing from HTML

    Printing from HTML

Trying to make a page for kids in HTML/jscript where they drag words and pictures to make a story board. Apart from minor issues (like slow drag & drop in Firefox, what a surprise!) it's mostly working ok.

I would also really like for them to be able to print just the board without the panels that held the pictures/text and without messing around setting zoom in print preview. Unfortunately, printing parts of a web page that includes both images and text seems frought with problems, even apart from the usual multiple browser differences, it doesn't ignore hidden elements for a start. Can't find any reasonably simple and reliable solutions on the net that don't require addins/jquery etc.

    Any brill CUK solutions? ta.
