Still haven't bought the Dummies Guide to Learning Assembly or whatever a good beginners book would be. AND I still haven't bought the Python for Beginners book either...

Well, there are some who say if you havent coded assembly language you are not a real programmer.

Me, i dont care, I only do web development and leave assembly language to AtW and Churchy.

Do you need to tell us the target architecture for optimisations to be sensible? Out of interest is this real code from some legacy system?

Below is a piece of code. If you feel like optimising it then please do. It is purely an exercise and for the hard of thinking (AtW), not a competition. Your resulting code must be assembled via debug and if you use a hex listing (in the case of .386 code for example) then please show your source code and explain any optimisations

I used to prefer Macro 11, far more sensible than 8086 etc.

Never coded in assembly language so I have no clue what those numbers mean except it proved AtW and Nick are pretty good at what they do.

They were working fine whilst I was coding, they failed AFTER I finished and thought I finally can get a quick game
