    My advice is to test continually in IE6 as you go, it is much easier than trying to fix it afterwards.
    I've got to the point where I can implement a complex layout so it works in real browsers, then look at the resulting explosion in IE 6 and work out where to add the necessary fixes in a couple of minutes - it's usually just a sprinkling of zoom: 1; to trigger the hasLayout property on certain containing elements, and the odd display: inline; to fix the 3 pixel text jog on floats.

    However I have also gone completely grey during the years it has taken me to learn how to tame IE6. Coincidence? I think not

    I liked what I assume is the standard (blue/white) skin on the forum, but I found the black/red skin much harder on the eye, e.g. under the forums'
    Server Discussion link.

    Oh well.
    And for some reason I can't download the latest version (6.3.something) for FF on Windows 7 64-bit.

    It's way too wide for me. I don't actually know what the resolution of these ClientOrg monitors is, but that's irrelevant as I don't maximise windows anyway; Chrome dev tools tell me that my window is currently 1044 * 1082.

    On div#mainContainer you have:

    Code:
    width: 1280px;
    min-width: 1024px;
    max-width: 1280px;
    As you have set a width of 1280px, the div is never going to get any narrower or wider than that, so the min-width and max-width rules don't apply: they are only of any use if you either leave the width as "auto", or are setting it using another relative unit such as 64em which changes (in terms of the number of pixels it occupies) if the user increases or decreases their browser font-size settings.

    Switching to Firefox (1156 * 1082, apparently) so I can use Firebug to disable that width: 1280px; still breaks because of the width of 1260px set on div#centreContainer. Disabling that in turn leaves .bottom > span with a width: 1220px; which is still breaking out. Disabling that finally gets it all fitting widthways, although there is a gap in that div with the three spans. However, now the boxes on the right are being forced down, presumably because of width set on the main content boxes.

    I really should be getting back to converting MathML into MathSpeak (as that's what ClientOrg are paying me for), but those are a few bits you might want to look at - unless you actually want a width that is only ever 1280px, in which case the min-width rules can go. I'll try and find time for another look later.

    Firefox tells me that the page is in Italian and would I like Google to translate it.

    Underlining on the tabs is slightly inconsistent - sometimes it goes right to the edge of the tab, sometimes it doesn't.

    I'm not keen on underlining the twitter and RSS icons, since the underline goes too far below the icon and leaves a big gap.

    Probably needs a caption in the word tag box and the one below it (admins online? Not sure what it shows to be honest)

    Are you going to cascade the design through the whole site? The Lazmin page, for example, looks too different from the test one.

    Are you going to fill in the box to the right of the submenus (game list, server prices etc.)?

    I don't like the underline that appears when you tick the "Remember Me" box.

    And it's slightly too wide for my 1280x1024 display.

    HTH.

    Prev client had to hand out FF for internet browsing in the end because they had to keep IE6 for SAP reasons*.

    *No, I'm not convinced by that argument either...

    Just make it work in Internet Explorer and attach this:

    *This site is best viewed with an 800x600 screen and Internet Explorer*
    Download the latest version of Internet Explorer HERE

    Sorted.

    Some of the tabs look a bit odd in ff3. Also noticed that the login pages aren't secure - should be using https anywhere a password or personal details are submitted.
