Most people seem to be ok, but a minority of users have reported serioius problems, including perpetual reboots and system crashes. YMMV.

WHSOriginally posted by Jog On View Post“Adding Vista features” only sounds like a world of pain to me. If it’s anything like when they brought out SP2 and the new firewall/security features then we’re in for a bumpy ride..
Can someone hurry up and install it please – I want to know what happens.
Thanks.
I dont want to go first...

I'm gonna hold off for now as I'm not interested in bombing my development machines and server just now. I may never apply it I'm so paranoid about it!

Updated my PC last night.
On first glance it still works, and I have yet to spot any difference (apart from re-running the auto update config on reboot).

I have it installed on a VM - can't say it appears any different to SP2..Originally posted by Jog On View Post“Adding Vista features” only sounds like a world of pain to me. If it’s anything like when they brought out SP2 and the new firewall/security features then we’re in for a bumpy ride..

I used to use that feature. Was quite handy for a whileOriginally posted by NickFitz View PostI believe not - IIRC it adds some Vista features, and removes at least one XP feature (albeit one that I've never seen used or been aware of, and which sounds so utterly retarded that I can't imagine why they added it in the first place).

Auto updates just prompted me to download it but I want to hold off until I know what's happened to other people first
Anyone got anything to report?
