The warm air goes into heating the water for our underfloor heating.

Which presumably means it doesn't come on in Summer? And turning up the thermostat would be self-defeating?

Aside from this, there would be a few other considerations.

1) connecting anything to the outflow, even large ducting, would restrict airflow which might cause problems with the heat pump
2) you would need quite large (insulated) ducting; how would you route this up to the 3rd floor? up the outside of the house could be a bit unsightly. I suppose it if was just a temporary arrangement that you stuck through a window in the summer, it might be ok

Is it just heating the cellar, or is warm air pumped elsewhere in the house?

The warm air goes into heating the water for our underfloor heating. The gas boiler assists when temperatures drop much below freezing, and supplies hot water for domestic use.

Apparently it's very efficient.

When it's 40°C, opening some windae's doesn't really help matters!

I've recently had a warm air pump / gas boiler combination installed in my cellar. I'm wondering if it's feasible to take the cold air and vent it up to my bedroom on the third floor, so during summer we can cool the house with the cold air from the warm air pump?
