The CUK forums have an administrator and a couple of moderators who ensure that standards are maintained. What those standards should be is a matter entirely at the discretion of administrator (with enforcement of said standards also delegated to the moderators).
To enter a long-running thread and castigate the creator and maintainer thereof on the basis that it doesn't accord with one's own ideas of what is appropriate to these forums is akin to entering another person's home and criticising the standards by which they run their household. It displays breathtaking arrogance, but more importantly it demonstrates absolute contempt for the person whose home it is.
Administrator has chosen to allow One a Day to continue its unbroken run of success, neatly tucked away where it belongs in LR. MF is entitled to his own opinions about what is "appropriate" or "professional"; but he is not entitled to strut about the place seeking to impose his opinions on others and, by implication, suggesting that administrator is not competent to administer her/its/his own forums.
Admin's house, admin's rules.
If MF doesn't like something on here because it fails to meet his exacting standards, he should communicate his opinion to admin and accept its/his/her verdict, rather than seeking to bully other members into submission.
Then again, many of his other posts suggest that bullying masquerading as reasoned argument is the only thing he is capable of.

I am not MF.
And I am not defending MF as I dont know all the details. But I am now running the risk of getting picked on like everyone else who crosses certain people on this board so I shall retreat.
Oh and I never claimed it was illegal, I dont know if MF did. But it does break the forum rules as I read them.

We all have have opinions MF/Dave, and (surprise, surprise) they're not always the same as yours.
And as for 'be professional - this is a contractor's site' - Light Relief is Light Relief. You want to be professional? Go to the PCG forums - (sometimes) they post in with their real names over there.
