I’ve seen that phenomenon before. My theory is that it’s reflecting the blue of the skyOriginally posted by xoggoth View PostStrange walk, sun shining on open field that still had little patches of snow behind the grass clumps and they looked blue. Wasn't just me old eyesight, took photo and they looked bit blue in there too.

Tea: chicken in red wine sauce with chips and peas
This was accompanied by a Netlix thing which is Ambulance-equivalent but in New York. But it does that US thing of chopping and changing all the time, in case our attention span should wander if we’re required to concentrate on the same patient for more than two minutes, so I don’t think I’ll bother watching the rest of the series (or season)
And the laundry has been accomplished

Oh maybe I'll post it. If NAT bans me I shall blame you.
Darn it! The nice lady neighbour I used to spend Sunday afternoon with has died.
Ok day apart from that. 1/2 hr local walk followed by drink at village club with usual people, then coffee chat at village cafe with lady I know.

Bedding wash on
I did the mattress topper and pillowcases yesterday, and this led to the machine declaring container 1 of the two-container internal detergent dispensing system to be empty. But there was a voucher with the machine for a six-month supply, calculated on the basis of a family of four, and which I therefore reckon should last me a year at least. So I’ve finally opened the box that came in and swapped a full one in

Didn't go to visit Mum today. I just really wanted a day on my own before work tomorrow.

you skipped the tedious bit to get to the REALLY EXCRUCIATINGLY boring bit???Originally posted by ladymuck View PostThe darts final beckons. I skipped the majority of the waffle and preamble by watching something else for the first half hour of the coverage. It should be actually getting underway in the next few minutes.

Morning all
Scrambled maps completed (nothing special happened at the end)
£75 interest in the January draw. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
About to venture out for a walk now, and later will be back up a ladder pruning apple trees. Spent 5 hours yesterday on the biggest cooker, still maybe another 2 hours to finish it, but I’d really like to start on the old cider tree as I didn’t prune it last year.
