Not this time. Just coming back the same way we came.

There was an option for a trip from London to Warsaw via Cairo when I was looking at weekend trips away. Strangely the 3k price tag didn't strike me as a good deal for the points.

CBS and a wee bit blowy this morning.
collated all the bits and bobs scattered over the garden by Dave overnight.
Some of them were actually ours, too

    Morning denizens

Sunny after the storm, though with big piles of cumuli. Still breezy so the current 9°C “feels like” 1°; the expected high is only 10°. The barometers have crept up to 1002/1010mB

    Morning.

    Sunday.

    Dry.

    Sunny.

    Blue sky.

    Bit windy.

NotSoChilly in here at 14.3 deg, ?12? in the kitchen, 11 in the leanto.

1011 mBar, 29.855 in Hg, 758.3 Torr, 14.66 psi, (up from 1001 last night), 65% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 23rd of March 2020 BR14, covbob, DaveB, eek, vetran, xogg and I all popped in.

Walk (unabbreviated, towpath) walked in the brisk wind and sunshine. Another ignorant cyclist who should have met a 9x19 surprised me: no bell, no warning, just hurtled past.

    Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: tinnitus.

There was no Monkey Life today, for unexplained reasons - but it continues next Saturday

But there was some wildlife stuff on later

Tonight, I started reading Antony Beevor’s new book Rasputin and the Downfall of the Romanovs

The storm is finally here! Extremely windy out, and heavy rain from time to time

    Goodnight all

Tea was brought to me from the Chinese place past the park. It was good, but not as good as from the nearby one that takes ages; I should stop being so lazy and go there more often

No it didn't! Not impressed. I wanted a shower this morning before travelling.

HWMBO and I are now in Charles de Gaulle airport, having some refreshments in the lounge before our onward flight to Porto in a few hours. It's a lovely sunny day here; 17 degrees.

    Afternoon denizens

I thought we were supposed be getting lashed by a storm this weekend? There’s a lot of cumulus making it cloudy with occasional sunshine getting through gaps, and it’s breezy, but I wouldn’t consider it “stormy”. The current 14°C “feels like” 7°, so I expect the high of 15° will “feel like” 8°; the barometers are up a bit at 999/1007

Maybe the storm thing was a prank by Carol on her last day
