
It’s sunny out, with high wispy cloud here and there, and already at the day’s high of 19°C which is expected to persist until teatime. The barometers seem cautiously optimistic, being up a little at 1010/1018mB

The chestnut tree out the back and the huge sycamore in next door’s garden out the front are getting into their colour-changing phase; it started on a small scale a while ago, but they seem to have decided it’s time to go full steam ahead with it now

dreadful night's sleep augmented by some lunes shooting on the marsh since about 06:00 or so. Poor old ducks getting decimated at a guess.
