Another day with lots of meetings, and yet I managed to be quite productive as well!
Lunch, which I failed to record earlier due to extreme busyness, was another Sainsbury’s steak slice, thereby finishing the pack of two
And once I’d finished work, having successfully advanced the state of the app in the remaining forty-five minutes after the last meeting the day, I had to venture forth to the chemist’s for the monthly prescription. It’s chilly out there and I hadn’t got far before deciding that even with my thick coat on, it had been a mistake not to wear a jumper
morning all
busy morning, PM in full panic mode <as normal for PM's>
thinks shouting will change basic engineering constraints <again, typical of PM's>
waste of space, the lot of them
Clear and chilly here - a nice frost on everything. Little CBx3 all off up the hill to school vaguely on time. Now I have the house all to myself - eerily quiet since the last mog departed this life the other week.
So you flew to Warsaw so you could fly to Berlin so you could get up at an ungodly hour to fly to Dubai then immediately turn round and fly back to Berlin again? It’s one way of getting to Stromness for the weekend, I suppose
Chilly in here at 13.7 deg, 11.5 in the kitchen, 8 in the leanto, 4 in the saltinghouse.
1011.5 mBar, 28.87 in Hg, 758.7 Torr, 14.67 psi, (up from 1005 last night), 57% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 3rd of February 2020 NF had watched STOS: III, whilst I'd watched "Unforgiven" earlier, LM suggested my leg needed a massage from a nubile young lady, eek popped in, WTFH had a smooth flight & too many Murphys, whilst the sun shone upon the assembled congregation, with blue skies all round, though with imminent cloud.
Washing frenzy in progress.
Walk (unabbreviated, towpath) walked in the sunshine.
Something little & very very noisy flew down the valley at one point but I didn't have a clear view.
Entertainment: Monkey Cage S1 E3, 4. Xmas ep. I'd forgotten the first season had sketches embedded therein. Which seems a bit odd, but there you go & there they went.
Today we are off to Dubai, and will have up to 90 minutes to get through the transfer process before coming straight back again. Guess who forgot their headphones

Seems a bit less cloudy today, and we’ll even get sunny spells! Cold again though, and a bit breezy: it’s 3°C but “feels like” -2°, aiming for a high of 8° - though only briefly this afternoon. The barometers are bouncing back at 1001/1009mB
Just heard the sound of the first of the bin lorries doing its thing, for it is bin day!
Dark. Can't see the weather. Apparently it's cloudy. Currently 0 degrees ('feels like' -2) with a high of 3 degrees expected. Barometer at 1001 mBar.

Tonight’s viewing was the remaining bit of an episode of Police Interceptors I started watching on, I think, Friday
Later, I finished reading A Gun for Sale. An excellent novel! I must get around to reading more of Graham Greene’s early stuff; I’ve got his Collected Short Stories, so I might make a start on that next
