After a morning of Monkey Life, there was some US borders and New Zealand policing stuff, though I didn't pay much attention to those
This evening, a couple of old episodes of 24 Hours in A&E
And after that, I read a few more chapters of Eternity. I'm about half way through that now, so I might as well see it through
Monday tomorrow. Maybe there'll be some more interesting stuff happening this week than last week
Goodnight all

Tea has been a roast pork dinner. Very nice
It's been raining a bit but had paused, so I popped round the corner to stick some post in the local pillar box. Nice fresh air out there

Long walky. Usual luck with the weather, drizzle so light you could barely feel it. Hmm, drink up the club? Maybe.

drizzly here. Got wet on our perambulation and since The WifeTM is away and it's miserable weather, I decided to bill a few hours.

Morning. Stone me, what a night. .
Sunday.
Dry.
Wanly sunny this side: black across the way.
Chilly in here at 16.0 deg, 16.5 in the kitchen, 15.5 in the leanto.
994.5 mBar, 29.367 in Hg, 745.9 Torr, 14.424 psi, (down from 999 last night), 75% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 19th of November 2019 NF and LM were doing a bedding wash and relating how many sets thereof they possess, whereas I was down the dump again getting shot of garden waste.
No walk today.
Lunch: there was.
Entertainment: more books.
Tea: soup: couldn't be arsed with anything else.
Entertainment: Thing on Sky arts about Helen Mirren .
Thing on Sky Arts about Alec Guinness.
Just remembered about a Rover P4 on ebay that finished this morning: it only made £2650.

Morning denizens
Rather cloudy start, with traces of rain on the ground and a chance of some more (albeit light) starting shortly. It's generally expected to be cloudy but dry until more rain arrives this evening, though. It's quite mild too, being 11°C with 14° expected. The barometers have dropped fairly sharply to 990/998mB

Just remembered that the bed hasn't been made yet. Best get on that once I finish the very delicious margarita that HWMBO made for me.

It says something that Nick went to bed before me.
But I rather enjoyed the Kirsty MacColl programs on BBC 2 (she would have been 65 next Thursday).

As usual, there was a load of Monkey Life followed by other wildlife stuff on the box today. Among the latter is a good series about various families of otters living in Singapore
This evening, I've read a few more chapters of Eternity
Early night now, ready for early Monkey Life tomorrow!
Goodnight all

Lunch earlier was a bacon bap (white). And tea was brought to me from Nando's by a man on a bicycle

Went to sister's do in the woods and, apart from her and my niece, didn't know anyone there, Still, nice chat with a fellow old fart. On way back held up three times by **** tractors. Shouldn't be allowed on roads during rush hour.

Afternoon all
Dry and sunny with lumps of fluff. A light breeze. Currently 17 degrees and it might get up to 18. Barometer down to 1013 mBar.
The bed has been stripped and left airing. It's nice enough out that it's worth putting the linen out in the garden on the airer. I doubt it'll dry today though.
No farmers' market visit today.
Interview date and time set for next week. Odd going for a permanent job but, if I get it, it'll actually offer more opportunity should the market pick up again.

Another sunny day, with no clouds but a bit of high haze. It's up to 14°C and aiming for 16°, but the barometers are down at 1003/1011mB
