Grey, dull, chilly. Currently 11 degrees ('feels like' 9) with a high of 12 expected. The sun might make an appearance this afternoon. Barometer down to 1013 mBar.

Many meetings this morning. Had a catch up with a chap at Gig1 that may result in more work, may not. My contract ends at the end of June, unless this other thing comes off.
I was wondering why the flat was so cold. HWMBO noticed the boiler had an error code flashing. This turned out to be a low pressure warning. Cue then working out how to increase the boiler pressure with the power of a YouTube instructional video in the absence of any useful instructions in the technical installation manual (no owner / user manual was provided). I have created a crib sheet with photos and instructions for future reference.
With that successfully resolved, my attention turned to working out why my coffee machine has taken to leaking and watching yet another YouTube instructional video about how to trace and fix leaks. This will be a project for another day.
Nice longish walk with not loony lady this morning, none of the rain predicted by the weather forecast. Old farts coffee meet up thing soon in a mansion garden.
Morning all
CBS, etc and yesterday's strong northerly wind has dropped.
There was ground frost in some of the fields, but our walk was pleasant.
More shed building this evening if the weather stays like this.
It’s a rather gloomy, grey start here and started raining in a fine, drizzly way about five minutes ago, just when I was poking my head out of the bedroom window for a breath of morning air. I saw two magpies though, so let joy be unconfined! It’s 7°C which “feels like” 2°, and the expected high is a mere 11°, while the barometers have reversed their cautious upward trend and are down quite precipitately at 999/1007mB
Cooler in here at 16.6 deg, 17.5 in the kitchen, 13.5 in the leanto.
1009 mBar, 29.795 in Hg, 756.8 Torr, 14.634 psi, (down from 1010 last night), 61% RH (Lidl electric).
Left knee with toothache in it for much of the night so sleep was less than satisfying. It's not complaining now I'm up & about. .
Meanwhile on the 27th of March 2020 DaveB, LM, WTFH, NF, and I popped in, as did Brillo.
Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away. Actually used one of their vouchers.
It's cold out there.
Dunno whether to stagger out to Tesco or not.
Not. Which was good since it's rained.
Lunch: brunch (early due to the unwonted early rising). Entertainment: Woman's Hour waffling on about fitting bras by eye rather than tape measure.
Cleaned the kitchen windowsill: and it needed it. Removed the long dead lead acid battery from the portable telly to see if it worked off 6 x D cells. Apparently it would: particularly if I charged said D cells. TV set is useless due to the analogue switch off but the radio bit still works.
Have to keep getting up when the knee starts complaining.
Now charging D cells. One looks to be defunct: the charger doesn't like it so it's stuck on a different dumb charger that just charges.
Sorted out a collection of leads: feck nose why I have so many, it must have seemed like A Good Idea at the time. .
Tea: chicken in white sauce etc. Nice enough. Entertainment: The kitchen cabinet. PM. Looks like the writing is on the wall for our Glorious Leader.
Gosh we do seem to go through them at an alarming rate these days: never mind, once Fuhrer Farage is elected we'll never need another, or get the chance to vote again.
Skinwalker Ranch. S6 E10 "Hard Target". The truth is in there.
Tea has been a chicken traybake with cherry tomatoes, shallots, and Middle Eastern seasoning. This was accompanied by spicy potatoes roasted in duck fat
I ventured over to the bins to see whether there was room for all the cardboard that came with the desk. No, was the answer; all the bins are full to overflowing. Looks like I was right to suspect they’d failed to account for the Bank Holiday
So when Wednesday comes around and the bins are all empty, I’ll have to make a few trips over to get rid of everything while the getting rid is good
Afternoon all, CBS here today. wind's a wee bit KB, but a nice day, all in all.
Garden & pond pottering done, complaint to amazon about using Nevri as a courier, as all they do is lose stuff and can't find you anyway.
full refund and £5 voucher obtained.
I see someone's stirred up the tax dodgers again
Oh, dear, oh dear.
Overcast with flecks of grey. Breezy. Currently 13 degrees ('feels like' 11) with a high of 14 expected. Barometer up to 1018 mBar.

Took the car up the road, came back home. Decided I didn't like the way the clutch pedal is behaving and I'd rather not push it. Informed my brother that I wouldn't be visiting today. He said Mum is in a really cheerful mood today, unlike yesterday!
HWMBO is on his way down from bonnie Scotlandshire.
The bed has been stripped and left to air, the first load is just finishing its spin cycle.
