    Morning.

    Tuesday apparently (checks clock).

    Grey.

    Misty.

Can't see Drummau so it's either raining, about to rain, or there's going to be snow.

22 deg in here, 22.9 deg in the kitchen, 21 in the leanto.

1011 mBar, 29.854 in Hg, 758.3 Torr, 14.66 psi, (up from 1010.5 last night), 68% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 1st of April 2020 AndyGarbs, Brillo, LM, MarkyMark, and WTFH popped in.

Another work dream, though of little consequence. .

Washing frenzy in progress, though I could feel the moisture in the air as I pegged the shirts out on the line.

    Sun's out now.

Misty earlier (a bit like yesterday) but it's now burned off.
Even though hot air is supposed to rise, the downstairs of the house is a lot warmer than upstairs. Windows are open, but it appears that local farmers must be muck spreading.

    Morning denizens

Cloudy start and the weather app thinks we’re getting some light rain right now and for an hour or so, though we aren’t; maybe it’ll show up soon. It’s 18°C (“feels like” 15°) and expected to reach 26° before getting proper hot over the next few days. The barometers are down a touch at 1004/1012mB

It’s odd that the recent hot spells don’t seem to be associated with particularly high pressure. I’d expect it to go much higher than that when 30°+ is expected in the next couple of days

This evening’s viewing was Police Interceptors

And tonight I read more of Eve’s Hollywood. She’s a very good writer, with a distinctive turn of phrase

Apparently this guy’s helmet had broken in two when he hit the road so all in all, he was pretty lucky to have got away with a skinning

I forgot to close the bedroom windows and blinds and it got up to 28°C in there by the time I remembered

But that was about three hours ago and it’s dropped back to a slightly more reasonable 24° already

I’d been meaning to change the bed over the weekend but kept forgetting, so I’ve left the mattress to air for now and will make it later, when it may even be a bit cooler

Do you need to re-define indices and clear caches?

    Morning all

Just a hint of a wisp from my vantage point. Currently 24 degrees ('feels like' 26) with a high of 32 expected. Barometer down to 1020 mBar.

    Sunrise 04:52; Sunset 21:19 BST

I didn't stay up to watch the football. There was fortunately less comment on it on R4 Today than I feared too.
