I honestly can't get on with treadmills - even doing 5km on one bores me to death. I swear time slows down!

Trouble is, if you do use anything regularly that is not very expensive it soon falls to bits. I'm not exactly Hercules but my very robust looking cross trainer in the garage has been welded several times. Even the 2 1/2" diam. main shaft broke, I repaired it with an old gate post.Only if you use it. Most exercise equipment doesn't get used.

Blimey! Just seen the price of those things.
For that price I expect it to be constructed from a decent endangered tree species, not some cheap shoddy pine from B&Q.

Yeah it is. In one of the episodes you see a part of the machine snap and Kevin Spacey hurts himself on it. With there being some much product placement of the machine I was surprised Waterrower let them put that in the story.Originally posted by SpontaneousOrder View PostIs that like the one Kevin spacey has in House Of Cards? I always thought that was just some kind of really retro machine.
Anyway I bought my Waterrower two years ago and wish I'd bought it earlier: great bit of kit and has much less of a footprint than a Concept 2. Best thing I've bought in years.

That way you could justify its presence in your living room.
