I honestly can't get on with treadmills - even doing 5km on one bores me to death. I swear time slows down!

Only if you use it. Most exercise equipment doesn't get used.
Trouble is, if you do use anything regularly that is not very expensive it soon falls to bits. I'm not exactly Hercules but my very robust looking cross trainer in the garage has been welded several times. Even the 2 1/2" diam. main shaft broke, I repaired it with an old gate post.

    Tabata, it's character building.

Blimey! Just seen the price of those things.
For that price I expect it to be constructed from a decent endangered tree species, not some cheap shoddy pine from B&Q.

They're not bad, quite quiet and the swish of the water is relaxing too!

Yeah it is. In one of the episodes you see a part of the machine snap and Kevin Spacey hurts himself on it. With there being some much product placement of the machine I was surprised Waterrower let them put that in the story.

Anyway I bought my Waterrower two years ago and wish I'd bought it earlier: great bit of kit and has much less of a footprint than a Concept 2. Best thing I've bought in years.
