I wonder if you'd get planning permission to develop the hole into something useful?

When I heard this story on the radio I thought "Poor sod, at least let him enjoy the thing as a piece of art if it's worthless"

But having seen the piccie I can't imagine enjoying that on my wall.

If this was the original the fake was copied from, not a very good job:

Being in High Wycombe I don't think they can pin this one on the Coal Board.

Smashed my wheel on a pothole on Christmas day. The local garage bloke got a hammer and fixed it for nowt in about 5s fortunately.

I went up there a few days later to see if I could find my hubcap and there were 7 next to the road. None of them mine unfortunately.

There is always someone worse than you….

Before christmas I had a situation with my new car after it got a screw in the tyre on the way out one night. It was off the road for two weeks… Yesterday I hit a pothole in Bucks and blew the other side out so 5k on the clock and £800 down the tubes. I was feeling pretty ****ed off till I saw this families sink hole makes me feel better in some way

They'll probably get a phone call from their insurers saying the damage was nothing to do with falling into the hole. Oh yees!

Just knocked £100k off the asking price of their house no doubt

That was on "Fake or Fortune" earlier. I do like that programme - interesting mix of art and science.

I quite like that painting too - think her face says it all.
