So Doctor Who was broadcast on 23 November 1963 (see wiki page)
and JFK was assassinated just the day before, on 22 November 1963.
I never knew that.
So it is clear that Tom Baker shot him, jumped on an overnight flight to London, and appeared on the show the following day. Obvious!
(OK I know it was William Hartnell, but stop complicating things..)
