    At one place a few years after I stopped looking over the infrastructure side with full (mainly we missed a few when symantec&HP decided we didn't need them) backups and shadow copies someone important asked me for a restore. I had to decline, the new team had switched off VSS , the tape drive was bust (for months) and out of warranty, my backup to disk had been disabled.

    I gave them a map of the human body and a torch.
