But somehow very compelling! I liked the first episode a lot
Reminds me of Rome but less shagging and more humour
Best line from episode 1: "Now, f*** me again, Leonardo"
Classic stuff

I don't recall the Riches ended on a cliff-hanger, it just ended. Still worth it in my eyes, good acting.

The Borgias is good, althought they canned it at end of series 3 so it doesn't end properly.

The Shield - I have season 1 and 2 never opened the boxes
The Killing (subtitled) Ah - we really enjoyed these. Plus The Bridge plus Borgen
Romanzo Criminale - ah I have that but not watched it yet
Archer - my son loved it, I've not seen it
The Borgias - I might give it a go. I presume it's a tit 'n' bum fest, like Rome?

Mad Men is nice to look at but not much of a story.
I've just started The Shield which is worth watching so far - even if a bit cliched.
Justified is worth persevering with.
Has anyone mentioned The first two series of The Killing (subtitled)? Don't bother with the third.
I liked The Borgias.
A couple of off the wall suggestions;
Romanzo Criminale is good if you like subtitles and it has a proper ending.
Archer - very funny indeed..

Can you just give the episode number and time? Thanks
EDIT: don't bother. There's plenty of photoshopped pics on the netLast edited by Platypus; 3 October 2013, 11:51.

Oh yeah MadMen is good so far (1st series).
Weeds is worth making you own mind, it's unusual which means reviews are going to be divided. It definitely tails off but unlike say, Lost, you aren't going to feel like you have to watch it... I'd say the first 3 series are definitely recommended and then make up your own mind.
The woman is quite hot and you do get to see her boobies.

What's with this half-season BS. Suits S03 has just stopped until Jan-14.
Why was I not consulted about this!
Weeds: fell off after a couple of seasons and not got back in
Homeland: struggled at first. S2 better than S1 and S3 is setup to be a good-un
Walking Dead: Gets much better after the first few.Last edited by Pondlife; 3 October 2013, 10:52.

Sons of Anarchy is like a guilty pleasure for me. Looking forward to Season 5 on DVD in a couple months.
Watched season 1 of Homeland but have kind of lost interest so wont bother with season 2.
Once I have done BB I think The Shield will be next for me.
