Unlikely to be age if its just on the new bike. I find I get odd hand pains if I keep them in the same place too long - I tend to keep swapping hand position.Originally posted by mudskipper View PostYep - was wearing gloves (although they're probably past their best). The main pain was my thumb joints - think I'm just getting old and arthritic!
I did get new gel filled gloves recently - that did help.

Would probably be good (although I bought it now, so it will need to do). Not sure that anywhere local does them - will look into it.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostDo you need a bike fitting?

Do you need a bike fitting?Originally posted by mudskipper View PostYep - I got the bike, but the engine's missing!
Very nice it is too, although after cycling home (about 15 miles) my hands were very sore - not used to the riding position, so think I'll have to do a few short rides to get accustomed to it. Hope it's a temporary thing.

I know maths isn't your strong point but this is basic arithmetic. £400 ph would make my daily rate £2800, you thick cretin.Originally posted by eek View PostI would imagine you would get that from the people on here if you asked. Sas after all claims that his hourly rate is greater than that.
