I recreated my lost speech and got in some crackIng one liners in.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostWill MF need contraception for the wedding night? Apart from his personality that is.
On thanking the guests for their gifts I added the line 'and contrary to popular belief we will not be opening a new shop'
On my mother in-law I finished with the line 'and of course this now opens a whole new avenue of jokes, but in all seriousness I always know when xxxx is coming to stay because the mice throw themselves on the traps'
And on the best man I opened with 'many of you were wondering who the man was who has propped up the bar all day with more jewellery than Jimmy Saville and a possible longer criminal record(alledgedly) well its the best man'
A speech just on the edge.
