    I had an Alfa 166 with the opposite problem; a recurring puddle in the rear foot well that made the carpet stink.

    that is a 1988 model (year is a prefix not suffix). the original f reg (year as SUFFIX) is August 67-July 1968.

    The first time I've seen a NLUK epic fail.
