What do you expect from bird protection charities? They pretend to care about birds but they sit there in their plush offices raking in charitable donations and most of them don't know one end of a chicken from another. Unlike me, mmmm!

It's identical to a lot of the other ones - I have a coop bank acct and the app is obviously a rebranded version of the same base app, probably all made by the same mobile dev outfit.Originally posted by SimonMac View PostI now have all my accounts with NatWest, their mobile banking App is worth it alone

Just a bit more security. Mind you when I was was HSBC I kept the token in with all the other passwords and stuff.Originally posted by Troll View PostI don't have any issues with CA in terms of useability - some of the navigation is counter intuitive and the look and feel is a bit agricultural -but on the whole it works- how would the token thingy help?

I did bank with Barclays and they were decent. HSBC were okay too but once I found they were laundering money I left. Cater Allen is atleast free, and me being a cheapskate, well...Originally posted by proggy View PostI have moved all my bank/mortgage to Barclays, might move my biz account over also. Their iphone app and online banking is very good, a few clicks to transfer money etc.

I have accounts with Santander (was Abbey) and HSBC and both have been great. I probably prefer HSBC but I also have an HSBCnet account.

Mind you I find HSBC website utterly confusing.

I'm hearing lots of good things about Santander tbh.Originally posted by lilelvis2000 View PostI haven't had a good experience with RBS either. I've had the whole ghost call thing too. When I called the manager to complain he said that so and so collegue had called me. I checked my mobile and there were no missed calls. I showed that to the manager and I got six months banking charges back.
Spoke to a mate of mine who is at Direct Line. RBS is being forced to outsource its IT as part of its sell off interests in subsiduary companies. Cap Gemini is the likely company to get the deal. The fun has only just begun.

RBS is owned by taxpayer so no point fining its users if they can recover same fine from bank + legal costsOriginally posted by proggy View PostI have business RBS account and they failed to pay DD to VAT, I got a fine from HMRC, but I wrote a letter a with screenshots from DD page and they removed the fine.
