I was quite surprised. The pool is open each year until mid september. Last year there were always a few die hards at 7am, even when it was quite chilly. But this year, nothing so far.
Maybe they all caught pneumonia and died.
Hay fever is in full swing for some of my colleagues.

That sounds amazing, love swimming in an empty pool so an outdoor full-size must be epic.

14°C this morning at 7am when I went for my swim in the local outdoor pool. No-one else there, so an olympic sized pool all to myself. (Water temp. 22°C; I prefer it a degree or two cooler, but it's ok).
I walked through London at 7am, which felt about that too. Turning into a lovely day here, wonderful summers days.
