If it tastes the same why not... they've been releasing the same lager with strengths from 3-5% over the years as fashions change.

When I was little my Grandma had the 'Pop man' like the milkman but weekly deliveries of cola, orange sasparilla and dandilion and burdock, wash the glass bottles and he collects.
Dont think this happens anymore?
Other northern stuff: coldsfoot rock, spanish and liqourise tablets. There is an old fashioned sweetie shop between threadneedle street and aldgate - bet they stock all this.
And now I feel old

We had a local Spa, which used ot give back the 10p, but then go and store the bottles at the back of the store, which we'd then go and take, ready for when another person come ot the till. Heady days; Cream Soda, D&B and lemonade until you were sick...Originally posted by bless 'em all View PostAhh the Corona man - shockingly green lemon and lime - bright red raspberry - orange more orange than David Dickinson
And a shiney 10p when you took the empties back - those were the days.

I'll stick to whisky.
What exactly is that? Is it guiness or just another beer made by the same company?Originally posted by Pogle View PostThey also have Guinness Red in Scotland too - never seen it elsewhere, sadly

I delivered "mineral" for corona as a Saturday job from the age of 13 up to 16. I also did a couple of months as a delivery driver for alpine soft drinks when I was 18.
I always chose d & b as my take home drink.
