I delivered "mineral" for corona as a Saturday job from the age of 13 up to 16. I also did a couple of months as a delivery driver for alpine soft drinks when I was 18.

I always chose d & b as my take home drink.

Lurve D&B - but if memory serves there were 2 types of cream soda - one clear and one a rose colour - clear was great for dobbing a chunk of vanilla ice cream in

Yeah, in a small Californian town which looked like the set of a western. It wasn't very nice.

Never seen it in a pub though in Scotland they have Irn Bru on tap and you can have a vodka & Irn

They also have Guinness Red in Scotland too - never seen it elsewhere, sadly

Here in Ireland Guinness are pushing their 2.8% Guinness, not tried it but it doesn't sound good!

Ahh the Corona man - shockingly green lemon and lime - bright red raspberry - orange more orange than David Dickinson

And a shiney 10p when you took the empties back - those were the days.

We had a local Spa, which used ot give back the 10p, but then go and store the bottles at the back of the store, which we'd then go and take, ready for when another person come ot the till. Heady days; Cream Soda, D&B and lemonade until you were sick...

I completely forgot about Ben Shaws classic cream Soda for more than 10 years and then this thread reminded me about it! I am going to have to and get some cans of the stuff now - does anybody know where they sell cans of it? Waitrose only seem to do bottles....
