    The Romans did not number days of a month sequentially from the first through the last day. Instead, they counted back from three fixed points of the month: the Nones (5th or 7th, depending on the length of the month), the Ides (13th or 15th), and the Kalends (1st) of the following month.

    doh! sounds just like some conversations I have had.

    User - Lets have a process in the ERP to pursue the customer aggressively for payment at 31 days from shipment. Look here's one on 60 days from shipment.
    Me - when did you send the invoice? Because that starts the current process.

    Me - oh.........................(thinks to self why do I bother)

    Beware watching The Ides of March (2011) too. I did the other week, and couldn't really get into it.

    Maybe I was a bit too pissed to appreciate the finer nuances or something. But dare I say, it was a bit boring.
