The first stink of a perm job. They need to speak to your references. People should run at that stage in anticipation of all the crap that is only to follow on a perm job Now I have to look up some buddies and have them perform a little show.

I mean the very concept of references is unnatural. If you left the place obviously you didnt belong there.

But it is gonna be much much worse in the future with electronic records on any minor job misbehaves in the past , on job surveillance, automated background checks, It is gonna be hell.
