    Just finished putting up a real tree... do the light manufacturers have a meeting pre season to decide what random wattage and fittings their bulbs will be to ensure non compatibility with previous years sets

    I wouldn't have a tree at all if it weren't for the kids. Since we're doing one, it's got to be real though. Christmas already comes with enough tacky plastic as it is.
