I'll have to mullet overOriginally posted by kingcook View PostI recall reading on HMRC's website that it's ok to have an alcoholic drink with your meal if you're staying away from home, and you can claim it as an expense.
Would 3 bottles of beer and a bag of crisps be OK to claim?

Back to OP. Most old world pubs will still have a manual invoice system in plaice (sorry), so you can simply ask them to put 'food £25' and be done with it.

Former client co paid for overseas expenses but they said "we do not pay for any drinks shown on receipts" . The problem was solved by saying to the restaurants and bars that we need receipts that do not show drinks. They all obliged.Originally posted by kingcook View PostI recall reading on HMRC's website that it's ok to have an alcoholic drink with your meal if you're staying away from home, and you can claim it as an expense.
