    When at work I just turn off display images in Firefox (when visiting any website that is not work related) and wait until I get to my hotel to see what MTT has posted (Youtube is blocked as a matter of course)

    Closing CUK is a good way. You could block all the image paths or using ad-block, hide the entire container (I just tested on Chrome and it worked well)
