    Immigration visa rules are the tightest they've ever been, and fecking expensive. For example in 2002 even (have to check exactly) it was all free, now it's £3/4k end-to-end to do it legally.

    The issue is Border Control and ease of mobility, the clandestines sitting in the camps in Calais get caught 9/10, but keep trying and eventually they get it.
