You were the young lady's dad?Originally posted by EternalOptimist View Post50 word story ?
When old EO was a young scoundrel he had relations with a young lady who was his best friends squeeze.
The best friend thought the new baby was his own. He died so old EO stood in when she married.
'I wish dad was here.'
He is love. he is.

What rotten timing - Would have been more interesting if he'd met her before she started rehabOriginally posted by DimPrawn View Post
I once wrote a story about a fantasy millionaire HTML coder who leaves his wife for an underwear model who just got out of rehab for sex addiction.

I haven't, but my daughter came back from school with a great big grin on her face a couple of weeks back and announced that a story she had written was going to be published.
Obviously I was very proud of her, and asked if I could read the story. It turns out that it was just fifty words long, and to be honest it was rubbish, but still, you've got to buy a copy don't you? Well, it's £18
for a copy of the published book which will contain hundreds of other rubbish fifty word stories by ten year olds.

Funny, I've been pondering about doing the same for a while now about dozens and dozens of exploits that some friends and I got up to from 17 to 25. Likewise, I would have to publish it as fiction though...to protect the innocent.Originally posted by Cliphead View PostWritten as fiction but based on six weeks touring Europe with a band back in the eighties, if I presented it as fact nobody would believe the stories.
I'd could write a full chapter about the exploits just at Radbroke Hall on my first contract there 12 years ago...
