I doubt it. The country is in such a mess that it's not going to have any significance on any attack on Iran. Now if the US had provoked this civil war, that would be another matter. I think your left-wing anti-US ideology is clouding your judgement.Originally posted by Paddy View Post...the US needs Syria to fall in order to attack Iran

WRS.Originally posted by russell View PostThat is an excuse, they disregarded the UN before, when they went to Iraq. It's because Obama is looking for a second term, shameful.
There are far more atrocities going on in the rest of the world not to mention that the US openly murders innocent Pakistani children on a daily basis with drone attacks.

Be very careful of people who try to poke you with an umbrella!Originally posted by AtW View PostThere were some technical reasons that allowed them to do it, but the results were very bad and Obama made a lot of political capital on it.
Libya was a good example however that it can be done but this time Russia won't accept it, just shows how low the role of the country now is under Putin - come to think of it he did the same thing in Chechnya in 1999 and the West was silent: he certainly can see clear parallels so he is doing his best to protect his scumbag friends.
