I believe it said 'so pay your taxes'Originally posted by d000hg View PostDoes anyone know what he said?
I've posted a few times in there, but only to ask genuine questions. It would be interesting to have the DB to run queries about what % of BN66 thread posters are not in any other thread, etc.
Maybe not verbatim but very close.

At a rough guess there are about 150 active posters in the thread - probably at least 4 times as many lurkers(but who knows?). The scheme itself had about 2000 users.Originally posted by d000hg View PostDoes anyone know what he said?

I suspect that of those 150 only 10 will look elsewhere unless specifically pointed to by a post in that thread.

I used it in 2006/2007 and 2007/2008. In fact originally it was just DonkeyRhurbarb and myself against allcomers! There were some very constructive comments from those opposed to us - very helpful.Originally posted by fullyautomatix View PostSeriously ?
I have been in there a few times and only found non-general posters. So how long you been using that scheme ?
I have very good MP contacts - and have helped distributing information and pointing MP towards a few complaints which have been resolved.
I appreciate you don't agree with us - but you are entitled to your opinion. Personally I think retrospectively changing the law is entirely wrong.
I am not sure what MF wrote - but if it was just a wind up then he may have deserved a ban. Remember there are probably 200 people going to go bankrupt.

Seriously ?Originally posted by BrilloPad View Postsasguru seems to have survived so far. But I was actually suggesting that you do NOT start another thread. I don't like bans. I am part of the BN66 thread - but I would like to see atw and mf back.

I thought general was regarded as somewhat of a bear pit and anything goes. The BN66 have their own thread in the sensible forums so do not need to join in with any piss take here.Originally posted by BrilloPad View Posterrr - you are right!
MF was debating winding up the bn66ers? What is the difference between constructively criticizing and winding up?Last edited by Arturo Bassick; 28 February 2012, 15:08.

BN6678 or something is some tax evasion scheme that many contractors on this website used to pay around 3% tax instead of 45% tax. They were informed by the dodgy company which set up this scheme that it was all legit and HMRC have agreed that IT contractors earning 200K PA need to pay only 3% tax and no more. So they went ahead and used the scheme to pay no tax and used all that tax avoided money to buy houses and go on holidays etc. But the proverbial happened and tulip hit the fan and they are being asked to pay back all that cash. They think its unfair but honest tax paying folks like me who have been paying 45% rate or what ever it is now think its only fair that they pay equally into the socialist basket.
This is the summary. I think an auto ban is imposed on whoeever summarises like this. So it could well be that I may not be around to reply to any replies.
