Not something I'd use personally but looks useful for some people. Best of luck with the venture!

Good link anyway - though I know Joel doesn't get everyone's vote... he's like the software equivalent of Martin Lewis

Would recommend "MicroISV on a shoestring" blog for anyone selling through their site... go right back to the beginning.... Main site: Kalzumeus Software | Patrick McKenzie (patio11) blogs on software development, marketing, and general business topics
Its also a good blog to follow.

Its one reason why I'm not suggesting ab testing as doing that in any professional manner would require providing a 3rd party with dynamic access to the website.

Firstly congrats.
As mentioned, a copywriter is needed, it reads like it is written by a techie... especially when reading the limited security section. Plus the continual reference to "stuff" makes me wonder what stuff?
Knowing about ESPC etc, I wonder what buying a house has to do with an online organiser but I've not watched the video.
Is it like remember the milk or is it more advanced?

I like the idea as I previously posted so no chip pissing here.
Personally I think there are things that need to be fixed prior to worrying about data security issues. Its an issue is of interest to us because we are techies its probably not of interest to the general public.Last edited by eek; 9 January 2012, 13:46.

"Went to the Aston Martin garage yesterday. I may be getting ahead of myself."
For all we know the OPs trip to the Aston Martin garage yesterday may not be based on money from fees.

As I said slightly later people automatically assume sites are secure. Don't give them any reason to think they are not by placing actual credentials in their view.
My advice is usually to do what Amazon does. As Amazon does not list credentials you shouldn't either.

Bes of luck with it and congrats for getting it off the ground. But...
... I'm not sure what it does and I don't want to have to sit through a video or a tour to find out. Why doen'st hte front page tell me what the product is?
Can't see any contact details so why should I give a random bloke off the Internet any personal or payment info?
On the front page under build you have text Goto tour that isn't a link
Hope it all works out and makes you millions
