After our 1 day of sunshine the water companies started crying drought, but today the Environment Agency Wales is saying that they've had so much rain that sewage is entering a lake in Snowdonia. Unless it's that guy who pees in lakes who has struck again.

Tell me about it
Seems to be a pattern that has repeated itself over the past 4 or 5 years, a dry winter / spring & then it decides to dump a whole year's worth of rain on us over the summer months.
Something to do with the jet stream's position being further south than normal, apparently, with the result that we get stuck with an endless chain of depressions blowing in from the Atlantic.
Depressing, just like November out there today.

What has happened to the Weather?
No bleeding sign (again) of the Bar-B-Q summer that the "experts" predicted. Not even a hint of all the rain and high winds they waxed lyrical about less than 24 hours ago.
It is July fer fook's sake, and the place is colder than Pingu's fridge!!
Mrs SB is even making noises about having the heating back on!!! Gah!!!
