    Just do what I do: download them as XML, then don't bother with the database tulip. Reading XML is easier than reading free text, plus you don't have to bother with a database.

    Of course. It's a well known fact that CUK has been fantastic at keeping old posts/threads over the years. In fact, it's so good an advanced search will bring up anything like the last 300 posts, or failing that you can check out the archive which goes back to well, errrr. But if you really know what you're doing you can actually search individual threads all the way back to 2005 by modifying the php script at the top of the page, plus you can go to the back up site on yuku, which as all the posts from 2002 - 2005 in professional and errr, oh none of the general posts, so that just leaves Nedprod.com for some older stuff where....

    Yeah, I'll back them up myself.
